We want everyone attending The Away From Home Festival to feel safe, relaxed and ready to enjoy being in the company of other people again. The venue is working with all the relevant organisations and public health authorities to ensure a safe and responsible event for all guests and staff.
In line with the advice and guidance from UK and local Government, you will be required to present your NHS COVID Pass on entry to The Away From Home Festival in order to gain access to the event and to help us to reduce the risk of COVID-19.
Please read the following information in detail and ensure that all steps are followed to ensure your entry to the event is as smooth as possible:
We will primarily be using the NHS app as the tool to show what vaccination status you hold. Please note this is not the NHS COVID-19 Track and Trace app you use to check into venues. Please also ensure you take a screenshot of your status in case there are any issues with this information loading upon arrival.
It is a condition of entry to the event that all participants attending The Away From Home Festival need to show one of the following;
- Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination. This requires two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine being given at least 14 days prior to attendance to the event.
- Proof of a negative COVID-19 lateral flow test (LFD) carried out at home within 48 hours before the show you are attending.
- Proof of natural immunity based upon a positive PCR test taken within 180 days of the Event (including 10 days self isolation following the result).
You can create and present your NHS COVID Pass via the NHS App (including a downloadable pdf), on the NHS website or as a paper letter, which can be requested through the NHS website or by ringing 119.
For more details on the requirements and how to download the pass, head to the NHS website.
Please also note that your test result can take up to 2 hours to appear in the Covid Status app, so it is worth logging your test the night before you arrive at the event.
Lateral flow tests are free from the NHS and can be ordered to be delivered to your home address or be picked up from an eligible location listed on the Gov website.
We will not accept a text message of your Negative Test Result unless you aged 16-18 without access to the NHS.
We are using proof of your COVID-19 status to minimise the risk of the virus being able to spread at the event. To do this everyone working and attending this event must abide by this process. Anyone presenting a test result that is falsified or not their own will be refused admission to the event.
Social distancing will not be enforced on-site. The Away From Home Festival cannot take responsibility for anyone who becomes unwell or catches Covid after the event and we believe that by enforcing additional entrance measures for the event, we are ensuring all ticket holders feel as comfortable as possible at the event.
